NEW THIS YEAR -- JAMES ISLAND COUNTY PARK VACATION COTTAGES

This year Charleston Folk had rented four cottages which we will “sub-let’ to Bug Stompers. Each cottage has three bedrooms. Two with a queen sized bed and one with bunk beds. Each cottage has its own kitchen, a screened porch, satellite TV and phone service. The park says that you can sleep up to eight (two on a sofa bed in the living room) but we don’t recommend more than six since there is only one bathroom. Check out pictures of these cozy cottages online at
www.ccprc.com/index.asp?nid=276 James Island County Park is located 6 miles from the dance.

The cost for the entire cottage is $248 for Friday and Saturday nights. If you want to arrive earlier or stay later after the dance it may be possible to rent a cottage for additional nights directly from the park.

We would like to “sub-let” each cottage to one dancer who will share it with as many or as few dancers as he chooses. If you’d like to rent one of these cottages contact our housing coordinator, Hiroko Hama at hamah@bellsouth.net to reserve a cottage and include an additional $248 with your Bug Stomp registration. Cottage reservations MUST be made before March 13th. Cottage reservations can be cancelled (minus $10) up until March 13th.

Want to stay in one of these Cottages and don’t have enough dance partners to share the rent? Contact our housing coordinator Hiroko Hama at hamah@bellsouth.net and she will get you in touch with like minded Bug Stompers.
