Welcome to

Charleston Area Contra Dancing

We normally dance the 2nd and 4th Fridays of each month at Charleston's BALLROOM DANCE CLUB at 1632 Ashley Hall Road. Admision is $8 and we try to start dancing at 8 PM. Beginners walk-thru/instruction starting around 7:45PM.

Current Schedule

We have started a new mailing list to keep those interested in our events up to date... By clicking on the following link. CONTRA-L.. you will get a verification back that once you REPLY to this verification you are on list. To minimize SPAM, only a select few will be able to post to this list, although all subscribers will receive messages.

** Listed are area dances that I know about.  I do not endorse any out of town dance.  However I have been to quite a few and enjoyed them all quite a bit.
